While race cars and rollercoasters speed their way with excited cheers
and rockets roar toward outer space with all of mankind watching on their TV sets,
there is yet something very slow and pokey that is gaining national attention.
\emp\Yes, that's right, it's \emp\caterpillars!
Official spokesperson for the Black Swallowtail Butterflies, Catherine Lowe,
in an exclusive interview last Saturday stated
^+"We deny rumors that Black Swallowtails will be taking over prime-time television."
Ms Lowe went on to explain:
^+"Despite the recent over-whelming popularity of raising butterflies and especially caterpillar gazing,
^+network executives are not convinced that the American public is ready
^+to give up their evening sitcoms and staged wrestling matches."

Responding to charges that caterpillar gazing is geeky, Ms. Lowe replied,
"Nonsense! Anyone who has ever experienced the joy of seeing the grass grow,
or likes to watch paint dry, would be absolutely dazzled by caterpillar gazing!"
Upon saying this Ms. Lowe then stomped out of the interview.
